RTHK understands that eight people have been arrested over the death of a man in Tuen Mun.

Sources said on Tuesday that the case is believed to be related to a dispute over illicit cigarettes.

Police said they were notified after 6am on Monday about a man lying unconscious under a bridge on Yick Yuen Road.

The 51-year-old was certified dead at the scene, and officers suspect he was attacked with knives.

The force has classified the case as murder.
