Hang Seng Index opens lower

The Hang Seng Index lost 79.25 points, or 0.3 percent, to open at 26,308.91 on Monday.

Meanwhile, mainland stocks opened higher, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.14 percent to open at 3,876.1.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.37 percent higher at 12,971.43. (Xinhua)
