The Hang Seng Index gained 90.07 points, or 0.34 percent, to open at 26,536 on Tuesday.

On the mainland, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.14 percent to open at 3,865, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.09 percent to 13,017. (Xinhua)
