Premier Li Qiang will attend the United Nations General Assembly next week.
A Foreign Ministry spokesperson said the premier will be on hand for the 80th session of the assembly in New York from September 22 to 26.
According to Xinhua News Agency, Li will also attend events held by China – including a high-level meeting on the Global Development Initiative – and meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and other world leaders during his stay in New York.
