Two PLA naval ships will be making a two-day visit to Hong Kong next week.

Training vessel Qi Jiguang and landing ship Yimengshan will be berthed in the city on October 1 and 2 as part of their training, military officials announced on Thursday.

People can visit the vessels docked at Ngong Shuen Chau Naval Base from 8.30am to 5.30pm on both days.

A total of 11,000 tickets will be made available.

Members of the public can begin reserving tickets from Saturday in three batches at 10am, 3pm and 8pm through the official WeChat account of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison.

Children aged 11 or younger are exempt from reservations, but they must be accompanied by a guardian.
