Hong Kong stocks ended lower on Wednesday with the Hang Seng Index down 0.4 percent at 25,830.

The Shanghai Composite Index finished up 0.2 percent at 3,946, while the Shenzhen Component Index closed flat at 13,080. (Xinhua)
