The police on Thursday filed holding charges against three people in connection with the murder of a 52-year-man in Fo Tan in March.

The trio were handed over by mainland authorities at Shenzhen Bay Port on Tuesday.

Officers laid a holding charge against one of the suspects, 27, with one count of murder.

The other two, aged 33 and 37, were each laid a holding charge with one count of conspiracy to murder.

The three men will appear in court on Friday.

This brings the total number of arrests in connection with the case to 10 so far.

The Anti-Triad Unit in New Territories South continues its investigation.
