The Transport Department on Friday said that subsequent transport measures had been put in place because of the Tai Po blaze.

In a statement, the department noted that a number of road sections were temporary closed in Tai Po, including Tai Po Road near Yuen Chau Tsai in both directions, and the slip roads to and from Tolo Highway.

It also stated that about 40 bus routes would be affected and diverted in aligning with the latest road closure arrangements.

The department suggested the affected individuals use alternative public transport services and refer to the bus company's website or mobile apps for the latest information on routes.

Commuters are advised to take note of the latest traffic and transport measures, plan ahead of their journey and reserve sufficient travel time for travelling.
