The Housing Department on Wednesday dismissed social media claims that Wang Fuk Court fire victims have been moved to interim units with unfurnished floors.

A department spokesman clarified that no residents of the apartment complex in Tai Po are currently staying in interim housing units.

The department urged the public not to believe false online comments, adding that affected residents seeking transitional housing may contact the Housing Bureau at 3611 8482.
