Hong Kong's stock market ended lower on Wednesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.28 percent to close at 25,760 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index slumped 1.68 percent to end at 9,028 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 1.58 percent.

On the mainland, both the Shanghai Composite Index and the blue-chip CSI300 Index closed down 0.5 percent. (Xinhua/Reuters)
