A consortium by Sino Land and Great Eagle has won the tender for a residential plot in Jordan Valley.

The Lands Department said the tender for the site on Choi Hing Road went for HK$1.61 billion.

The figure is in line with market expectations.

The government had received a total of eight bids at the deadline last Friday.

Officials have said the site could generate about 570 flats. The winning developer is also required to build facilities for the mentally handicapped.
