Two men died in separate industrial accidents in Kai Tak and Tsuen Wan on Wednesday.
In one of the cases, three gas cylinders reportedly fell from a crane at a construction site on Po Fung Road in Tsuen Wan at around 1.30pm, hitting three workers below.
Two were seriously injured, and one of them – a 29-year-old man – later died in hospital.
In the other incident, police received reports at around 4pm that two workers were struck by a platform board at a construction site on Sheng Fung Lane in Kai Tak.
One of them, a 66-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The other injured worker was also hospitalised.
The Labour Department said it is investigating both accidents.
