Police on Friday arrested a patient at Prince of Wales Hospital on suspicion of indecently assaulting a student nurse.

The hospital said the 50-year‑old male patient was being cared for in a Medicine and Therapeutics ward when the incident occurred.

In a statement, the hospital strongly condemned the act, adding that it has zero tolerance for such behaviour.

It says it will fully cooperate with the police investigation and provide support to the student nurse.
