Secretary for Justice Paul Lam visited a public housing estate to spread the Lunar New Year cheer with residents.

Writing on social media, Lam said he visited two families living in Lai Tak Estate in Tai Hang.

Lam said he first visited a family of three, which included the father, Shi, who works as a security guard, and his son who is in Secondary Five.

He noted that they are satisfied with their living environment, after having moved from a transitional housing unit. Prior to that, they were living in a subdivided flat.

Lam commended Shi's dedication in providing a comfortable and stable living environment for his family.

The second household Lam visited was an elderly couple surnamed Poon.

He wished them a healthy, peaceful and happy Lunar New Year.
