Hong Kong's unemployment rate has fallen slightly to 3.8 percent, according to the latest figures from the Census and Statistics Department.
The figure, for the December 2025 to February 2026 period, was down from 3.9 percent during the November-to-January period.
The number of people out of work fell by around 3,700 to 134,700.
The drop in the unemployment rate was seen across various sectors, with notable falls in retail and accommodation.
The underemployment rate remained unchanged at 1.7 percent.
Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun said growth in the Hong Kong economy is likely to continue supporting the overall labour market.
"The government will stay vigilant to the development of various external uncertainties, closely monitoring for any implication on corporate hiring sentiment in relevant sectors," he said in a statement.
