Seven people have been killed in a building collapse in Heilongjiang province.

According to Xinhua News Agency, nine people were trapped after the partial collapse of the building in Hailin Town, in the city of Hailin, shortly after midnight on Sunday.

Two others were treated at hospital.

Authorities there said rescue work had been completed and the cause of the accident was still being investigated.
