Hong Kong's stock market ended higher on Wednesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 1.68 percent to close at 26,111 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 1.86 percent to end at 8,805 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 1.72 percent to end at 4,910 points.

On the mainland, stocks also closed higher.

The blue-chip CSI300 Index rose 1.1 percent, while the Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.7 percent. (Xinhua/Reuters)
