Hong Kong's stocks opened higher on Thursday.
The Hang Seng Index rose 317 points, or 1.21 percent, to open at 26,531.
Mainland stocks also opened higher.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.2 percent at 4,168, and the Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.53 percent higher at 15,541.
Other Asian stocks also did well, with the Nikkei in Japan surging more than five percent on hopes of a deal between Iran and the United States. (Agencies)
