Police said more than 20 people sustained minor injuries following a collision between a double-decker bus and a construction vehicle on the Tsing Kwai Highway shortly after 2pm on Monday.

Officers said the bus driver was briefly trapped before being rescued by emergency services.

A total of 23 bus passengers were also injured in the crash.

Footage online showed the bus ramming into what appeared to be a traffic management vehicle.

Most of the airport-bound lanes on the Tsing Kwai Highway near Princess Margaret Hospital had been closed to all traffic.
