The Ministry of Commerce on Thursday rejected an Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) report published this week, saying its policies on industrial subsidies "strictly comply" with World Trade Organisation rules.
Monday's report from the Paris-based OECD said government subsidies to industry had reached their highest level since the global financial crisis, driven largely by China.
"We urge the OECD to conduct research in an objective and neutral manner... (and) avoid politicising or instrumentalising research reports," the ministry said. (Reuters)
