President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Monday and Tuesday.
Xinhua news agency said on Friday the two-day visit was at the invitation of Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK.
Xi, who's also the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, paid his last official visit to the country in 2019.
