The Immigration Department said on Saturday that a couple who were arrested on suspicion of child neglect have completed the birth registration process for their infant boy.

The department also confirmed that the baby, who is one and a half months, was born in Hong Kong.

The couple claimed baby Danny had been delivered at home.

Officers have interviewed the parents and collected information and evidence, including a DNA test report that verifies the couple’s blood ties to baby Danny.
