A worker on Monday died after falling from height at a construction site on Yan Po Road in Tuen Mun.

Police were alerted at around 2.30pm and classified the case as an industrial accident.

The Labour Department said officers were sent to investigate the cause of the incident.

The Association for the Rights of Industrial Accident Victims said it was trying to reach out to the family for support and urged the contractor to provide assistance.

The group said that, according to their understanding, the worker was working on the external wall scaffolding before he fell.
