An intern doctor on Saturday was given bail after she was arrested on suspicion of accessing a computer with criminal or dishonest intent.
The 24-year-old was taken to Caritas Hospital in the afternoon to help out with evidence collection.
She must report back to the police next month.
Her arrest last night came after authorities said they were notified that she was suspected of using another person's account to log in to a clinical management system without authorisation and browse patient records.
Earlier, the Hospital Authority said it had dismissed the intern doctor following a probe into a series of misconduct allegations.
