Police said on Friday a 33-year-old woman was hospitalised after being hit by a wooden hoarding on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Online footage showed the hoarding appeared to have been put up as part of renovations at a shop.
The incident occurred at around 12.30pm, when the hoarding, measuring five by three metres, reportedly toppled over as the woman was passing by the shop.
Officers said the victim suffered injuries to her left foot and was conscious as she was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
