Anti-triad police officers arrested four men on suspicion of money laundering on Wednesday, following a clampdown by the force and the Fire Services Department on illegal petrol station activity in Ma On Shan.

During the operation, officers raided two light trucks and one medium truck parked on Shui Cheung Street in Ma On Shan. There, they discovered suspected refuelling equipment, approximately 6,000 litres of diesel, and over HK$70,000 in cash.

Officers arrested three men, aged between 25 and 51, and seized the fuel, which they said had a market value of HK$200,000.

Separately, officers also arrested a 33-year-old man on Sai Sha Road in Ma On Shan in connection with the case.
