A 47-year-old man has been released on bail after being arrested at Hong Kong International Airport on Monday, following an argument over flight service issues.

During the dispute, the man allegedly said that his 13-year-old son's luggage contained a bomb.

Police said the airline employee reported the incident at about 8.30 pm. Officers arrived at the scene and allegedly found the man to be in possession of a switchblade, a stun gun, and two suspected e-cigarettes.

Officers then arrested him on suspicion of breach of the Aviation Security Ordinance, possession of offensive weapons, possession of imitation firearms, and possession of Part I poisons.

Police said no one was injured, and no evacuation was needed.
