Hong Kong’s major bus operators will gradually resume services from 12.40pm on Sunday, after the Observatory confirmed the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 will replace the T8 signal at that time.
Citybus, Kowloon Motor Bus and Long Win Bus, however, noted that during the initial phase of service resumption, some routes would remain suspended or diverted due to road conditions.
Passengers are urged to check the operators’ mobile apps, social media pages and websites for the latest updates.
Cross-boundary shuttle bus services between Lok Ma Chau and the Huanggang control points will also resume from 12.40pm.
Meanwhile, limited services have resumed on the East Rail Line between Fanling and Lo Wu, as well as Lok Ma Chau.
The MTR said services between Tai Po Market and Fanling were not expected to resume until later on Sunday afternoon due to fallen trees and a damaged overhead cable near Tai Wo Station.
Shuttle bus services will be arranged between the two stations.
