A burst pipe in North Point caused traffic and water supply disruptions on Friday morning.
The Water Supplies Department said that a fresh water main began to leak, resulting in part of Fook Yum Road being temporarily closed for emergency repairs.
It said on social media that the area's water supply returned to normal from 11am, except for the Harbour Heights residential complex.
It said it had deployed water trucks, water tanks and provided bottled water to support affected households.
It added that repair teams are working at full speed and hope to restore water to Harbour Heights by 10pm.
