Three women appeared in court on Thursday over a brawl in a Kwun Tong shopping mall last month, in which a five-year-old girl was allegedly slapped.
The three defendants were charged with fighting in public.
One of the women, a 68-year-old, was also charged with common assault.
They appeared at Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts, where they were not required to enter a plea.
The case was adjourned to November 5 for further mention.
All three were granted bail of HK$5,000 each.
They are banned from entering APM Mall.
A second woman, a 34-year-old who is the mother of the five-year-old, was also ordered not to leave Hong Kong.
The court heard that the three women are accused of taking part in an unlawful fight in a public area on August 26.
The 68-year-old defendant is separately accused of assaulting the girl.
