All quotas to visit the Po Pin Chau trail in Sai Kung East Country Park on Friday and Saturday have been snapped up, as well as for the first two days of the National Day Golden Week holiday.

Writing on social media, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department said a limited number of slots were still available for the Golden Week ending on October 7.

Under the real-name reservation system, the daily visitor capacity is capped at 2,000.

Entry to the trail, which is open from 9am to 5pm, is split up into four two-hour sessions with the number of visitors in each group capped at 500.
