A voyeurism investigation has been launched following the discovery of pinhole cameras inside changing cubicles at a gym in Sha Tin, police said on Saturday.

Officers said a staff member reported finding a pinhole camera wired into the false ceiling of an individual cubicle on Friday.

Investigators then found the camera's wiring was connected to lighting circuits in the false ceiling and discovered similar hidden recording devices in two other cubicles .

The Sha Tin district investigation team is investigating the case.

Writing on social media, 24/7 Fitness Sha Tin said it was actively cooperating with the police investigation and could not comment further while enquiries were ongoing.
