Two former senior executives of a cleaning company have been charged by the ICAC for allegedly accepting bribes totalling more than HK$75 million in connection with the procurement of cleaning vehicles and maintenance services, with the case expected to be mentioned at Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts on Monday.

William Fung, 54, former director of Johnson Cleaning Services Company Limited and chief executive officer of its parent company, and Jimmy Lee, 57, former general manager of Johnson, were both charged on October 30 with one count of conspiracy for an agent to accept advantages under the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance and the Crimes Ordinance.

At the time of the alleged offences, Fung oversaw Johnson's business including subcontracts, purchase orders and the release of payments.

Lee was under his direct supervision.

Between November 2024 and January 2026, Johnson procured multiple fleets of cleaning vehicles from a supplier and regularly used the supplier's vehicle maintenance services, with total expenses exceeding HK$160 million.

The charge alleges that Fung and Lee conspired to accept bribes totalling over HK$75 million from individuals including the supplier's proprietor, as a reward for showing favour to the supplier in the company's business dealings.

The ICAC said Johnson had rendered full assistance during its investigation.

As the corruption investigation is ongoing, the commission said it would not rule out further prosecution.
