Many children in subdivided flats have poor diets  Listenfacebook
A survey by the Hong Kong Community Dietician Association and World Vision Hong Kong has indicated that more than 70 percent of children living in subdivided flats may have nutritional deficiencies. These include not consuming enough dairy or vegetables and fruits. The survey also found many low-income families need more guidance on nutritional requirements. Bonnie Leung, a dietitian with the association, spoke to Sophie Hui about the survey findings:
Plea for government to help homeless find housing  Listenfacebook
The government has been urged to expand its housing measures for homeless people to improve their living conditions. The plea came after the Society for Community Organisation conducted a study last year along with St Francis University to learn more about the needs of homeless people in Hong Kong and their difficulties. At a press briefing, they pointed out that many of the government’s temporary shelter schemes set conditions of stay that can be inconvenient to those seeking help. The university's school of social sciences professor Wong Yu-cheung spoke to Charlie Chun:

Pakistan's foreign minister Ishaq Dar will start a three-day official visit to China from Monday. The visit was announced by the foreign minister's office and comes a little over a week after Islamabad reached a ceasefire with India to end their most serious conflict in decades. Ukraine says Russia has launched its largest drone attack since the start of the war, targeting several regions including Kyiv. It comes as the leaders of both countries are due to hold calls on Monday with US President Donald Trump to discuss a proposed ceasefire. Britain's EU negotiator says the country hopes to secure a reset deal with the European Union that would boost defence and security cooperation, as well as smooth the arrival of people and food into the bloc. Nick Thomas-Symonds made the remarks in an interview with Sky News, before British Prime Minister Keir Starmer hosts EU leaders in London on Monday. It's the most significant effort to reset ties since Britain left the bloc in 2020. RTHK's UK correspondent Peter Anderson gave Carol Musgrave a preview of the talks:

The US stock market rally fuelled by President Trump’s tariff rollback on China is drawing caution from some analysts, who warn the rebound may be overextended. The S&P 500 returned to positive territory this year but the sentiment turned sour towards the end of the week after US economic data weighed on investor confidence. And on Friday, Moody's ratings agency downgraded America's sovereign credit rating. RTHK's US economics correspondent, Barry Wood, in Washington gave Ben Tse a preview of the week ahead in finance:

In football, Dutch side AZ Alkmaar have won the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens in what was the club's first appearance at the seven-a-side tournament at the Hong Kong Football Club. The victory comes after they defeated Brighton 1-nil in sudden-death extra time, denying the English side a shot at a repeat title.
