Hong Kong's women's cricket team are through to the semifinals of the Asian Cricket Council Asian T20 Championship in Kuala Lumpur.

They thrashed Nepal by seven wickets to secure a top-two finish in Group B.

Having held their opponents to 109-6, the SAR team lost just three wickets in racing to the winning total with 25 balls to spare.

Mariko Hill scored 45 in the win and was named player of the match.

Hong Kong will go for a fourth win in a row when they play their final group match today against Kuwait.

Hong Kong top the group with three wins from three games, having also beaten Bahrain and Bhutan.
