Hong Kong's Ng On-yee has been knocked out of the British Open snooker tournament.
Ng was up against Jordan Brown of Northern Ireland in the second round, and Brown was off to a fast start, winning the first two frames in the best-of-seven affair at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.
The Hong Kong star fought back, taking the third frame 67-37 thanks to a half-century break.
But Brown proved to be the better player on the day, reeling off the next two frames to win the match 4-1.
Ng, a three-time women’s world champion, was the only female player in the main draw.
Welshman Mark Williams, the defending champion, crashed out after a 4-1 defeat by Ben Woollaston of England.
