Home driver Andy Chang won the Macau Grand Prix on Sunday in a crushing display, as the race ran within the Chinese Formula 4 championship for the third year in a row.
Current Chinese F4 leader Gerrard Xie, from Hong Kong, started from pole after winning the qualification race, ahead of two-time Macau winner Charles Leong.
The race had been expected to be a tight three-way fight between Chang, Xie and Leong, but when the Macau driver got ahead from third on the grid, there was no holding him back as he recorded a dominant win over Macau debutant Xie.
The return of some of the top European drivers for the Macau GT Cup saw Germany's Maro Engel claim his third Macau victory over multiple winner Edoardo Mortara.
The Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix also returned after a two-year absence and saw the first victory of a rider from Finland. Erno Kostamo came home a worthy winnmer from German debutant David Datzer.
