Hong Kong will face France, Great Britain, and Uruguay in the group stage of the men's tournament at this year's Hong Kong Sevens. France are third in the Sevens World Series behind the leaders New Zealand with Argentina in second.

Australia, who won the most recent edition of the Hong Kong Sevens, have been drawn in a pool that includes Spain, USA, and Japan.

The 2023 edition of the city's biggest sporting event features an upgraded women's tournament, marking the first time that the SAR's women's and men's teams are simultaneously competing in a Sevens World Series tournament.

Hong Kong's women have been drawn to face the World Series leaders New Zealand.

The tournament kicks off at Hong Kong Stadium on March 31.
