Kaylin Hsieh on Wednesday snatched a second gold medal for the SAR at the Chengdu World University Games.
She beat Italy's Sara Kowalczyk 15-6 in the women's epee individual fencing event.
This is the first fencing medal for the SAR's team at these games.
The SAR sent its largest-ever delegation to the games, with over 140 athletes competing in 11 events, including gymnastics, fencing, swimming, and taekwondo.
The Hong Kong delegation has, as of Wednesday night, won two golds, one silver, and three bronze medals at this year's World University Games.
