Hong Kong concluded the Asian Para Games on Saturday with a gold in the women's doubles-Class WD22 table tennis event in Hangzhou.
Ng Mui-wui and Wong Ting-ting put up a strong fight to beat the Japanese team 3-2 to bring home the win.
Hong Kong won the first game 11-5 to give them a head start, before Japan made a comeback in the next two games winning 12-10, 12-10. The SAR then tied the score by winning the fourth game 13-11. In the crucial fifth round, Ng and Wong sealed the victory 11-7.
Meanwhile, the other Hong Kong team Wong Ka-man and Wong Pui-kei tied with Chinese Taipei for the bronze.
