An exhibition football match featuring some of the game's legends will be played at the Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday and it's billed as the first large-scale friendly held locally since the pandemic.

The Owen All Stars, led by former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen, will go up against the Scholes Legends, captained by former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs whose ex-teammate Paul Scholes could not play because of illness.

Other big names set to appear in the World Football Master Cup 2024 include Luis Figo of Portugal, Brazilian Gilberto Silva, Robbie Fowler of England, as well as former local stars Lau Wing-yip and Lee Kin-wo.

RTHK will show the match live on channel 32.

Kick-off is at 4pm.
