Jordan Tang and Tse Ying-suet won the BWF Super 300 mixed doubles event at badminton's German Open on Sunday, beating Kim Won Ho and Jeong Na Eun of South Korea in the final, 21-5, 21-14.
The Hong Kong third seeds battled through their Saturday semi-final, coming from a game down and surviving two match points to beat Robin Tabeling and Selena Piek of the Netherlands in three sets, 15-21, 21-16, 23-21.
There was some concern heading into the final as Tang appeared to injure his left knee in the last four tie.
But the SAR pair – ranked eighth in the world for mixed doubles – comfortably swept past the second-seeded Kim and Jeong for their first BWF World Tour win since the 2023 Hylo Open in Germany last November.
