Hong Kong boxer Ruru Yang became WIBA Super Bantamweight champion on Thursday, defeating Thailand's Tanwarat Saengiamjit in Bangkok.
The 29-year-old won by unanimous decision after 10 rounds in the Thai capital.
She adds the previously-vacant WIBA Super Bantamweight belt to her WBC Asia Super Flyweight crown.
Yang went into the bout with an undefeated record in five professional fights, with two wins coming by way of TKO.
Saengiamjit, with a record of nine wins and one loss, had already failed at a shot at the super bantamweight title in 2015 – when she lost to New Zealand's Gentiane Lupi
Yang is now undefeated in six fights since turning professional in 2022.
