Hong Kong's Romantic Warrior on Sunday won the prestigious Yasuda Kinen in Japan.
The six-year-old gelding, trained by Hong Kong mentor Danny Shum and ridden by New Zealand ace James McDonald, stormed home to win the 1,600m Grade One race at Tokyo Racecourse ahead of 17 other horses.
Another entry from the SAR, Voyage Bubble, finished unplaced.
Romantic Warrior is the third horse from Hong Kong to win the prestigious Yasuda Kinen, after Fairy King Prawn in 2000 and Bullish Luck in 2006.
