Akira Sakai and Russell Aylsworth will be the first Hong Kong sailors racing in Olympic 49er competitions.

The 49er is a two-handed skiff-type high-performance sailing dinghy, which requires the two crew members to work on different roles.

The duo told RTHK about their strong bond, which started in 2018 when they paired up.
