Hong Kong tennis star Coleman Wong was on Wednesday knocked out in the second round of qualifiers for the upcoming US Open.
Wong lost 6-1, 2-6, 6-7 (8-10) to Chinese Taipei's Hsu Yu-hsiou.
Hsu is ranked 185th in the world.
On Tuesday Wong recorded the first senior Grand Slam victory of his career, beating Chile's Cristian Garin in the first qualifying round.
The 20-year-old Wong won the Australian Open junior doubles title two years ago.
