Hong Kong's "Flying Fish" Siobhan Haughey bagged two golds and a bronze to conclude the first stop of the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup in Shanghai on Sunday.

The Olympic medallist won her first medal of the competition on Saturday in the women's 200 metres freestyle, with a time of 1 minute 51.46 seconds.

Haughey, who won two bronze medals at the Paris Olympics, brought more good news on the final day in Shanghai by winning a bronze in the 50 metres breaststroke, followed by a gold in the 100 metres freestyle only 15 minutes later.

She came third in the breaststroke event after finishing with a time of 29.74 seconds – behind China's Tang Qianting and Benedetta Pilato of Italy – to create a new Hong Kong record, and dominated the freestyle event by leading from start to finish, ending with a time of 51.89 seconds.

The second leg of the World Cup will be held in Incheon, South Korea from October 24-26, while the last stop will be in Singapore from October 31 to November 2.

The World Cup is a qualifying event for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) in Budapest at the end of the year.
