Windsurfer Mui Ma on Monday overcame Britain's two-time Olympic bronze medallist Emma Wilson to win the iQFOiL women's category at the Hong Kong Windsurfing Open Championships, as fellow Olympian Alex Cheng claimed the top spot in the men's races to cap off the five-day event.
It was a welcome return to form for the Hong Kong pair, who made their Olympic debut in Paris in July.
A dramatic ending to the women's event saw Ma, 26, secure a come-from-behind victory after edging Wilson in the 16th and final race of the competition.
The pair finished the event tied with a final score of 18.
An overall champion is determined based on the results of the day's final race, with Ma's heroics in the final round helping her seal the victory.
Britain's Alice Read and India's Ishwariya Ganesh ranked second and third respectively.
In the men's division, Cheng won 10 out of 16 matches to claim his second title since 2022.
Another Hong Kong athlete, Jason Au, edged out Korea's Kim Chan-yi by three points to take second place.
The Hong Kong team will be heading to the iQFOiL Asian Windsurfing Championships from November 19 to 25.
