Tottenham Hotspur are promising fans a treat as they gear up to clash against their arch rivals Arsenal in the first overseas setting of the famous North London derby.

The two rivals are set to clash at Kai Tak Stadium on Thursday.

Tottenham defender Ben Davies told RTHK’s Backchat programme that he is excited to return to Hong Kong and meet the fans.

The 32-year-old player last visited Hong Kong with the team in 2017.

After holding an open training session for fans at the stadium, Davies said he was excited to play against top opposition at the venue.

"The venue is incredible. I remember when I came last time to Hong Kong, I think it was 2017, we definitely didn't play in the stadium. The fact that it's got the roof definitely helps with the heat," he told RTHK.

"It's such a big venue, the noise is great even though there was only a quarter of the fans there. So when it's full, I can't wait to see what it's like."

He also thinks this is a great opportunity to play in front of fans who don’t often get to see the team live.

The match between Spurs and the Gunners will kick off at 7.30 pm on Thursday at Kai Tak Stadium.
