Hong Kong, China's wushu team earned more success at the the World Games in Chengdu as Lydia Sham clinched gold in the Wushu Women's Changquan-Jianshu-Qiangshu combined event.
It was the third gold for Hong Kong, China, also the second gold earned by the wushu team.
The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China congratulated Sham and the wushu team for their continued success.
"Her skills and resilience were truly impressive. With fluid yet powerful movements, she earned high scores in each event, outcompeting her opponents to strike gold, said Wong Po-kee, Chef de Mission of the Hong Kong, China Delegation.
"Her victory is well-deserved... it is a testament of the excellence of Hong Kong athletes."
